Day 4…

Let those creative juices out…

Today we’ll have some fun and get a bit creative.  We’ve been talking all about goals and writing stuff down.  If you’re the creative type, maybe the writing has been a bit boring.  So, let’s take our goals another step further and do it differently this time.

Instead of filling out worksheets, create a VISION of what your life looks like in 2017.

Today’s assignment is to summarize your goals visually with pictures.  This is called a VISION BOARD.

So, for example, if one of your goals is to travel to San Diego this year (like me), then put a picture of a map of San Diego on your Vision Board.

If you’re hoping to buy something you’re saving up for, put a picture of it on your Vision Board.

If there’s something important to you that you want to focus on this year, put a picture of it – or a picture that represents it – on your  Vision Board.

You can do your Vision Board in a variety of ways.  You can do it like we did back in 2nd grade and cut out pictures from a magazine and tape them to a piece of paper (or go BIG and put them on a poster-sized board).

Or go digital and use a service like Canva for free to copy/paste pictures, resize them, etc. to make your board as pretty as you want.

A key aspect of this is to have a hard copy of it and hang it up where you can see it every day.  The point is to have a visual reminder of what your life looks like.  You want to constantly be able to see it to remind yourself of what’s important.

Bonus points…post your Vision Board in the private facebook group.

Ok, go have fun and make something creative today!
