Day 11…
This is a tough one for me personally. That’s because today is all about making the most of your day by getting up early.
I am not a morning person by nature so, if you’re like me, this may be rough.
However, I’ve been working on getting up earlier than I normally do and I’ve been really happy with the results. That’s because I get stuff done that really needs to get done before any “fires” of the day start and I need to divert attention to putting those out.
For me, “early” means about 5:30am. Sometimes I can make 5am, but 5:30 ends up being the time I normally make it out of bed after hitting the snooze a few times.
The actual time you get up does not really matter. The point of this is to design the very first part of your day so that you can get important things done before you get distracted by work, family, etc.
Your assignment is to dedicate to getting up just 30 minutes earlier than you normally do and then get something done during that time. Maybe what you get done is personal and maybe it’s business. It doesn’t matter as long as what you do is productive.
Maybe you’ll like it and start getting up 45 or even 60 minutes earlier. Try it out and see.
